More Police Now

Kent Liberal Democrats have launched a countywide campaign to put more police on our streets.

Councillor Trevor Emes commented, "It is time that Kent followed the lead of the Metropolitan Police. Putting more Police on patrol is the way forward to beat crime and anti-social behaviour here in Thanet."

Guy Voizey said, "Local people are always telling us that they rarely see a Police Officer on patrol in our area. We believe that a greater police presence will act as a deterrent to criminals and making our town a safer place to be."
