The Kent Youth County Council (KYCC) exists to represent the views and opinions of Kent 's young people. There are 48 Members of KYCC who are democratically elected each November.
KYCC is a non-party political organisation that works with elected Members and Officers of KCC, informing them of young people's issues and concerns.
Kent Members of the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) are elected from the KYCC to take Kent issues to the National Sitting.
Elections for members and officers this year were held between 14 and 19 November. Over 25,000 votes were cast across the county for the 63 candidates standing for election.
