South East England Liberal Youth Annual General Meeting Calling Notice

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of South East England Liberal Youth (SELY) will take place on October 23 at the Ratton School, Park Avenue, Eastbourne BN21 2XR between 1020 and 1120. The AGM will be taking place at the same venue as the South East England Liberal Democrats AGM, which can be attended for a price of £10 and starts a 0900.
Speakers at the South East Region Liberal Democrats Conference include the Business SecretaryVince Cable, Stephen Lloyd MP for Eastbourne and Sharon Bowles MEP. Lunch is included in the price of attending the conference.
The main item of business of the SELY AGM will be to ratify the new Constitution and Standing Orders of South East England Liberal Youth.
The SELY AGM will also be holding elections for the South East England Liberal Youth Executive, South East England Liberal Democrats Conference Representatives, and a Representative to the South East England Liberal Democrats Executive. If you are interested in standing please return a nomination form to Darren Briddock, South East England Liberal Youth Returning Officer. Please return all nomination forms by 23 September at the latest.
A copy of the proposed new Constitution, Standing Orders and nomination forms can be downloaded from the South East Region Website (southeastlibdems.org.uk or http://www.southeastlibdems.org.uk/resources/index/South%20East%20Liberal%20Youth) or are available from the Retuning Officer Darren Briddock on request (treasurer@southeastlibdems.org.uk).
If you are interested in attending the South East Regional Conference registration can be done through the South East Region website. If you are interested in attending only the SELY AGM please inform Darren Briddock by October 16, at the latest.
